In4nite II

In4nite is a project initiated by Low&Bonar, this second edition was presented again at the beautiful area StrijpT on Dutch Design Week 2018.

This year seven designers where invited to work with their technical textile Colback® and Enka®. In the spirit of innovation, In4nite is a platform that combines the ideas and creativity of designers with the technical expertise of Low & Bonar to create a diverse range of designs and products. 

Colback® is widely used in the flooring industry. It is a strong, lightweight and form-retaining non-woven which is perfect for tufting carpets.

The collection Tangible Tufts is a combination of industrial tufting and handtufting, it sheds light upon tufting techniques in such a way that it is both

comprehensible as well as aesthetically pleasing.

It is truly an ode to carpeting. By placing the tufts on our walls instead of floor it changes our point of view on the use of textile in interior.

Mieke Lucia has the desire to add more textile in our work and living spaces. Because she strongly believes that textile is such an important aspect, it improves acoustics and adds warmth and colour.
